Christina Ferragamo
Director of Marketing

Hello, fellow human! I’m Christina. If you’ve been to a match, you might’ve seen me hyping up the crowd or snapping polaroids while chatting with you wonderful folks in the stands. I’m originally from Massachusetts and made my way to Portland by way of Boston.
I’ve been in the marketing and creative world for over a decade, working everywhere from healthcare nonprofits to commercial photo studios, a certain super-famous footwear brand you’re probably wearing right now as you read this, and — believe it or not — even the financial industry. What’s the common thread here, you might ask? Great question. Honestly, what’s drawn me to almost every job hasn’t just been the work itself — it’s been the community around it. (Though, of course, the benefits, paycheck, hours, and day-to-day too.)
This team is all about heart (corny, but true) — on the pitch and off — and I couldn’t pass up the chance to be part of an organization that’s truly making a difference. Soccer is a bridge: to friendship, to community, to that feeling of being part of something bigger. For so many people, it’s a lifeline.
We’re bringing together humans of all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds under one roof — and celebrating that shared joy is pure magic. That’s what makes all of this matter.
I live on “The Hill” (aka Munjoy Hill) with my fiancé. When I’m not at the office or working, you’ll probably find me reading on the Prom — I’m a sucker for a good romance or thriller — or teaching Pilates and Barre at Salud here in Portland. I’m also an avid runner, painter, baker, and interior design enthusiast (I live at Home Depot).
Portland’s full of amazing food, but if I had to pick favorites (which is nearly impossible), I’d go with Jiang Yan and Ribollita — I can’t choose just one! Best cocktails on the peninsula? Now that North Point has closed (RIP), Hunt and Alpine Club or maybe Bramhall are my go-tos. And if we’re talking ice cream… the best soft serve you’ll ever have in your entire life is from Maple Creemee Co. Trust me.
