BIOGRAPHY
Kemali (k’-MAH-lee) Green returns to Portland Hearts of Pine for his second season at Hearts of Pine having appeared in 24 matches, starting all 24, and logged 2,135 minutes on the field, contributing 1 goal.
Kemali joins Hearts from Temple University in Philadelphia, where he played a pivotal role in leading the team to the conference playoffs and earned AAC All-Conference honors.
Born and raised in Jamaica, Kemali began playing soccer at a young age in a community where the sport was deeply ingrained in everyday life. He represented his country at the youth level before moving to the United States, joining the Philadelphia Union Academy, which laid the foundation for his collegiate success and professional aspirations.
Originally drawn to Portland by the club’s vision and community-focused ethos, as well as the opportunity to work with Coach Bobby, he’s ready to continue to embrace Maine, its passionate fans, and further develop with Hearts of Pine.
