Damian Foley
Director of Fan Experience

Kia ora!
I’m Damian, the director of fan experience, who comes to New England by way of New Zealand.
A soccer fan for as long as I can remember, I grew up with a ball at my feet, cheering for Liverpool and the Kiwis. I’m now comfortably retired as a player but passionately giving back to the sport I love by ensuring the USL’s best fans have the league’s best matchday experience. Mainers have welcomed me as warmly as they’ve welcomed Hearts of Pine, and ensuring a sold-out Fitzpatrick Stadium is the biggest party in town from the moment the gates open until the moment the last fan leaves is the least I can do to thank them.
When I’m not at Fitzy you can find me outdoors. I love running, skiing, and kayaking, and have even been known to cage dive with great white sharks (I still have all fingers and toes, though it could be argued I’m missing a few brain cells).
I haven’t been in Maine long enough to have found a favorite restaurant or pub yet, but due to the shortage of meat pies, I might have to team up with Pat Langlois to start a side hustle, selling them out of the back of a car in the Fitzy parking lot before Hearts matches. That said, I haven’t had a single bad bite or brew since arriving in Maine, and I can’t wait to see more of what this spectacular state has to offer.
