BIOGRAPHY
Diego Gonzalez joined Hearts of Pine on loan from Houston Dynamo 2 during the 2026 season. A Houston native and Dynamo academy product, Gonzalez signed his first professional contract at 19 and developed into one of MLS NEXT Pro’s top midfielders, earning 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Best XI honors after recording six goals and 10 assists. An attacking midfielder with technical quality and vision, Gonzalez brings creativity, tempo, and another option to the Hearts midfield.
