Hey, I’m Chris — the first-ever Content Creator for Hearts of Pine!
I recently graduated from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine, where I double majored in Sports Management and Leadership for Sustainable Development. The moment I heard professional soccer was coming to Portland, I knew I had to be part of it.
In 2022, I had to step away from playing the game I love due to multiple concussions. I was faced with an identity crisis that left me wondering who I was without soccer. But through that loss, I learned something important: while my role in sports changed, who I am never did.
Leading through connection and compassion, I’ve found a purpose in storytelling. I get to bridge the community to the club, to the mission, and to each other.
Soccer’s been part of my life in every form—playing, coaching, cheering, and now creating. It’s a global game, but it’s local at heart. Our community has been waiting for this and it’s finally here!!
Being part of this club means everything to me. I’m surrounded by people who lead with their heart and that spirit is amplified by the incredible community around us. I’m proud to be part of it, and even more proud to help share it with you.
Genuineness and authenticity are what I chase, and this club is exactly that.
