BIOGRAPHY
Jay Tee Kamara returns to Portland Hearts of Pine for his second season after a strong debut in 2025.
During his inaugural season, Jay Tee appeared in 25 matches, starting 12, and logged 1,204 minutes on the field. He contributed 6 goals and 4 assists, helping the team establish its attacking identity and making an immediate impact in the midfield.
Jay Tee joins Portland after two seasons in Europe with Swedish side Ljungskile SK, where he appeared in 42 matches and scored 8 goals. Prior to that, he played in the US with Louisville City FC, a loan to North Carolina FC, and Columbus Crew 2, building a reputation as a versatile left-footed midfielder.
Born in Sierra Leone, Jay Tee began his soccer journey with Alaska FC before moving to the United States to attend Montverde Academy in Florida. Internationally, Jay Tee represented Sierra Leone at the U-23 and U-20 level, highlighting his capabilities as a left-footed midfielder on the global stage.
